Iam very excited to be the elementary technology teacher at Dutton Christian School. This is my third year teaching technology. The students at DCS are wonderful and make my job a delight! I also enjoy collaborating with classroom teachers to create engaging lessons that integrate language arts, social studies, and science.
Before starting our family, I taught first, second, third and fifth grades at a private school in Ohio and in West Michigan. Last summer (2010) I completed the Master of Education program at Grand Valley State University. While I am pleased with the accomplishment, I look forward to other opportunities to further my education.
I have been married to Jon for 19 years and have three children, Anna (10 years old), Ethan (9 years old), and Katherine (7 years old). We have a Golden Retriever named Jack. In my spare time, I enjoy Bible Study Fellowship, gardening, and traveling with my family.
